After hiding my curls for several years I decided to set them free!I realized that I spent more time trying to straighten my curls vs embracing and caring for them. My 14-year-old daughter also has beautiful curly hair and I wanted to show her that I was also proud of my curls. I did not want her to go down the same path of Curl Destruction as I had. So, I woke up one day and decided to set my curls free! I knew that in order to do this, I had to dedicate myself to making a formula that would define and nourish my curls as well as creating "no-heat' type styling tools to air dry and go. Curlfession was the perfect name to bring together a community of people who want to talk about their curly hair "ups" and "downs" and through these conversations or should I say "Curlfessions" discover the methods and products that would help everyone rediscover and love their curls forever.
